Donations

There is a dire need in Greenville for an alternative place of compassionate care for patients and their families when a terminally ill loved one can no longer remain at home.  The Board members of  Hospice House of Greenville - through research, personal experiences or through professions - know the wonderful effect that a warm, home-like hospice environment can have on a patient and their loved ones.  With a caring staff that offers loving medical care and nurturing family support around the clock, final days for a loved one are much more peaceful.

A hospice house can make a difference.  That's why we built the McCall Hospice House of Greenville. To bring these services in a free-standing hospice house right here in Greenville County, so our residents no longer have to leave the community to seek the care offered by a hospice house.

You can help make a difference.  Our capital campaign  is still underway, and we need your support to reach our goal of $8.1 million dollars that it cost to build the Hospice House of Greenville...a place of comfort and a place of care for the Greenville community.

Secondly, if you would like to reach patients and their families in a more direct way you want to donate items for our Comfort Bags. These bags are given to family members and caregivers of patients when the patient is admitted into the Open Arms Hospice In-Home Hospice Program and when a patient is admitted into the McCall Hospice House of Greenville.

Lastly, you may also want to donate a hand held cross in Memory or Honor of your loved one.  These hand held crosses will be delivered to the patients as they are admitted into our program.

If you are interested in giving of your time, you can contact Donna Owens, Open Arms Hospice Volunteer Coordinator at 864.688.1730 for more information.
